Go Green solar panels

“They all laughed when I said I was going to ‘Go Green’… But their laughter turned to amazement when I was running my house off my very own solar panels and saving a ton of money each month!”

If you have any interest at all in renewable energy... if you want to find out how much money you could possibly save by “going green”... or you just want to figure out whether renewable energy is even a REAL option for your needs... then this website was written just for you.

Here's the story...

They Laughed at Me

I have never been known as the “save the environment” type.

So when I starting talking about renewable energy sources, my friends thought it was kind of funny.

I mean, I don’t even recycle my plastics and glasses...

Heck, come to think of it...I'm probably the only person in my neighborhood who doesn’t recycle.

Anyway, you can see why my friends thought I was not the person who would start talking about renewable energy and “going green”. But to be honest, I heard you could save a LOT of money, which was my main reason for being interested (although I do feel good about helping the environment when I can).

Well, I decided. I would show them...

How I Became A Renewable Energy “Guru”

Okay, I'm not really a renewable energy “guru”. But my friends all think I am. Here's why...

I really decided I was going to figure this alternative energy thing out...so I started studying.

I talked to my friends first and (after they stopped laughing) they told me what they knew about it.

I got some magazines, some books, and started reading a lot of web sites about renewable energy. Here's what I found out...

It's Easier Than You Think!

Turns out “going green” (or at least starting to!) is not complicated once you know a few basics. For instance, changing over to solar power for electricity is WAY easier than what “traditional” electricians do.

Some of the reasons are:

• Renewable energy is becoming more popular…

• There are federal programs that exist to help you get started (more on that later)

• Most “starter kits” for solar energy are set up with “do-it-yourself” people in mind

• You can start small and slowly work your way towards going totally “green”.

And you don't need to know a lot of technical stuff.

That's the big secret.

In fact, what I discovered was that there are only a few key tricks and pieces of information that can help make the transition to renewable energy TEN TIMES easier once you know them.

Here's the problem...
There's No Simple Guide

I searched and searched for a good simple guide to renewable energy (and solar energy specifically).

You know, a book that was low on fluff and just tells me what I need to know about solar power and renewable energy sources.

I don't want to know all the technical details, or read a university-level course on electrical engineering, etc.

I just want to know...what are the basic tips that renewable energy experts know that will make my transition to this energy source a lot easier and keep me from making expensive mistakes?

Just teach me those tips, was what I was thinking.

I couldn't find such a book.

Save On Your Energy Bills

Over the past several decades, Kermit Wordsmith has written on a wide range of topics. Wordsmith's writing style is unique, as it should be. He draws upon a lifetime of experience which includes an engineering degree and his work in industry. His long list of works includes books, short stories, letters, proposals, challenges, commentary and poetry. An advocate of people, Wordsmith stresses that, to be worthwhile, technology must serve individuals. He believes that self reliance and fiscal discipline are key to solving most of today's challenges, not adding more debt or raising taxes. In his most recent work, "Save On Your Energy Bills," Kermit Wordsmith has once again drawn on his technical background to produce a remarkable compilation. Both timely and timeless, this E-book is literally packed with ways smart people can and do save money on energy, whether at home or on the road. "Save On Your Energy Bills" offers interesting theory, sage commentary and thoughtful recommendations to all of us who now live in this age of expensive energy. It puts a practical, conservative approach first, as we deal with today's energy challenges. This E-book stands on its own merit as a compilation of sound ideas. The information contained within it can be useful in the temperate regions of the world but not so much in the higher, polar latitudes. No specific recommendations are made to any person and results are not guaranteed. Results can vary, depending on what a person may choose to do with any or all ideas discussed and his geographic location. Right now is the perfect time for you to order this serious, down-to-earth publication. Written to be understood by the average homeowner, it is chock-full of ideas and free of conflict of sales interest. It is exactly what you need, your best next step to save on your energy bills

Renewable Energy

What is Renewable Energy?

Well, almost everyone understands

what it is to some degree.

But who has ALL the

variations in one place?
WHY WE NEED TO GO GREEN

WE DO!

The whole world is now beginning to understand the importance of our environment and what we have done to ruin the balance of nature. But we are intelligent beings and we can change how we do things and in the process change the world as we know it. Being responsible for our actions concerning the environment has now become a necessity for our future.

CHANGING TECHNOLOGY IS THE PROBLEM

Technology equals constant change. One of the problems everyone deals with is learning new technology. In this time and age, everything is changing very rapidly. So the learning curve for all of us continues to increase all of the time.

Rapid change means frustration. Yes, change more often than not is very frustrating for most of us. Then to top it off, who has time to search the internet gathering information so we can learn all this new stuff? Well, as it applies to renewable energy…..

History of energy and Timeline of thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and random processes

The word energy derives from Greek ἐνέργεια (energeia), which appears for the first time in the work Nicomachean Ethics[3] of Aristotle in the 4th century BC. In 1021 AD, the Arabian physicist, Alhazen, in the Book of Optics, held light rays to be streams of minute energy particles, stating that "the smallest parts of light" retain "only properties that can be treated by geometry and verified by experiment" and "they lack all sensible qualities except energy."[4] In 1121, Al-Khazini, in The Book of the Balance of Wisdom, proposed that the gravitational potential energy of a body varies depending on its distance from the centre of the Earth.[5]

The concept of energy emerged out of the idea of vis viva, which Leibniz defined as the product of the mass of an object and its velocity squared; he believed that total vis viva was conserved. To account for slowing due to friction, Leibniz theorized that heat consisted of the random motion of the constituent parts of matter, a view shared by Isaac Newton, although it would be more than a century until this was generally accepted. In 1807, Thomas Young was the first to use the term "energy" instead of vis viva, in its modern sense.[6] Gustave-Gaspard Coriolis described "kinetic energy" in 1829 in its modern sense, and in 1853, William Rankine coined the term "potential energy." It was argued for some years whether energy was a substance (the caloric) or merely a physical quantity, such as momentum.

William Thomson (Lord Kelvin) amalgamated all of these laws into the laws of thermodynamics, which aided in the rapid development of explanations of chemical processes using the concept of energy by Rudolf Clausius, Josiah Willard Gibbs, and Walther Nernst. It also led to a mathematical formulation of the concept of entropy by Clausius and to the introduction of laws of radiant energy by Jožef Stefan.

During a 1961 lecture[7] for undergraduate students at the California Institute of Technology, Richard Feynman, a celebrated physics teacher and Nobel Laureate, said this about the concept of energy:
